Ok everyone, So Ryan and I are officially now engaged! He purposed to me this past Saturday, We went to dinner and he did everything so cute!

The night started off just like a normal family outing, he had suggested that we go to dinner a couple days before that and I was so excited that he had suggested it. Money has been a bit tight so we don't get to go do those kinds of things much anymore. I had a couple things kind of tip me off that it could be coming soon. First off around Valentines day he told me he ordered my present online, Everything started rolling through my head of what it could be. Second, Like I had said money has been tight and we had a discussion on where we were financially and he told me how much he had and I was all ok great we are doing good. Well a few days later he tells me we don't have any money til next paycheck. I was a little worried on where all the money he had told me we had went, so I started bugging him about it. He kept telling me it went to bills, I'm sure you can see where this is heading.Anyways, I stopped bugging him about it because he got a little grumpy that I wouldn't leave it alone.

So back to Saturday, We decide to eat at Charlie Chow's Dragon Diner. Somewhere I had never been, affordable, and delicious! Everything is going normal just hanging out talking and playing with cute little Phoebe. Well we are doing the potty training thing with her as of recent and she told me she needed to go potty. When me and her got back to the table I sit back down being the clueless person I am, didn't notice the box sitting on the table right in front of me. Ryan starts giving me a funny look and so I follow his eyes. Where I looked down and there it was in all its glory! I was so surprised that I finally wore him down lol Just kidding honey!

Ok so now for the funny part of my story, We were at an Asian restaurant and of course at the end of your meal you get a fortune cookie. Well when I opened mine up here is what my fortune read....

So with ending on that note, we have definitely made our wedding into a venture. We will be getting married down in Las Vegas in the middle of May. We will also be holding an open house here in Salt Lake sometime in June. We aren't sure on the details yet but we will keep everyone informed!

Well let me see Since last time I wrote on here, Ryan has been at target almost 3 months now and hopefully at his 3 Month mark he can apply for a promotion! I finally have had a job offer as of today, and Miss Phoebe has just grown even more over night!

Ryan has loved working at target, If he gets his promotion in about a month then he will be making 7 dollars more an hour! So everyone keep your fingers Crossed! He has really gotten into his Long Boarding this summer, and even though there is snow on the ground he has continued going as much as the weather allows.

I Finally got offered a job today, they have to wait for my background check to come back but as soon as that shows up I can start. I will be working at the Homestead hotel in Sugar House, probably mornings but I don't know for sure. I am still looking for EMT stuff hoping to hear back from IHC about a couple jobs.

Phoebe, What words can express how much this little girl has changed my world in two years? She is so incredible! She can make you laugh at the perfect times, She is soooooooo caring, And knows so much! I love when she's being naughty and I'll tell her to stop and she shakes her finger at me and jabbers then you hear her say "NO YELLING!" Another thing that is just so funny, is that she will call ryan by his first name or call him bud lol It is so funny. I'm so proud to be her mommy!

Halloween was here and gone! Phoebe rocked the Care bear look. She loved the trick or treating and the candy even more! Here are some pics we had done earlier in the day. We started out the night trick or treating with our cute little neighbor Hailey. Following up with going out to her cousin's house to trick or treat with all of the Greene Kids! :D It was a good night that wore her out and gave her lots of fun!

Well I am terrible at putting anything on here. It has basically been a year since the last time I posted anything. Lots has happened since then :P, Ryan has a completely different job and Phoebe has evolved from baby to child in what seems like overnight, Me I haven't done a ton I was working and doing EMT school but now I do nothing but look for jobs.

We will be celebrating Phoebe's 2nd birthday in two weeks! Gah I can't believe that she is already turning into a "big kid" but I guess it just how life goes. She just amazes me how well she can talk already and how much she can understand me and Ry. We love her to pieces she keeps me going sometimes.

Ryan just started a new job at target in fort union and is totally loving it. His car projects have been put on hold due to lack of funds and the fact that we have a brand new car that we are just trying to keep up on so hopefully this new job will help him out and get us back on our feet.

I just finished EMT school this summer and am looking for a job doing that. Mean time I have just been doing the mom thing. Phoebe is going as a care bear this year and there will definitely be pics to follow :D. We are just taking life one day at a time and hoping its going to work out.

Fall Time OH NINE!!

So I have been a total slacker on keeping my blog updated... But insomnia has gotten the better of me and pulled me out on to the computer! :P anyways... Since Ryan has had his amazing job selling Subaru's we have made so many new friends! In September we took phoebe to her first baseball game. Having so much fun, Phoebe got to meet the team mascot and me and my new friend Alex got to go play a game to win a free blue tooth! lol it was so much fun.

October came around and Halloween was in the air along with some funky witches and my little lady bug took flight! We had such an awesome halloween! Phoebe was the cutest lady bug around and we went trick or treating together and we got to spend some time with my grandma and cousins! Unfortunately Ryan had to work that night and Phoebe discovered what candy was truly and how to spot it lol... We found out one of ryan's cousin's was expecting her first baby through an exciting pumpkin carving!

Summa Time 2009

So we have had quite an adventerous summer so far..... Ryan has a new job that he loves and is doing soooooooo well at and Phoebe is growing like a weed! She has already started to pull her self up on anything she can get a hold of.... Phoebe even got to experience her first Mid-night premier (it was harry Potter! :D) We have Hiked up to Timponogas Cave and lots of other hikes! We have Gone swimming a lot and we even adventured to the East Millcreek Fourth of July Parade!Unfortunately we did have an emergency room visit but it was ok Ry just got a cut that needed stitches and our awesome friend stacie (who happened to work at the hospital) made our visit that much more plesant! :DWe haven't been able to go on a vacation yet but we hopefully will be able to before the summer is out if not early fall! :D I have lots of pictures to post and I hope you enjoy all of them! :D

Well where do I begin!.... I'll start with phoebe she is the most exciting of all of us! :D Since the last time I have written on here, she has learned how to roll, scoot and almost crawl. She had her first tooth break through the gums last week. She can also say da da really well and loves to just say it over and over again if she is in a big room of people talking. She loves to steal my popsicles and icecream when ever I am eating one. OH and her all time favorite thing to do is shred napkins, if she has one don't try to take it away unless you can distract her really well with something else it happens very rarely. In the pictures above the very top one is her most recent mug shot she can sit up in the bath tub all by herself for the most part. The second one is also recent If you look really closely at it you can see her tooth but you might have to see a larger size of it. The third picture is of her in her favorite toy, we take it everywhere with us just ask our friends we don't leave home with out it! The fourth one she was being cute and smiling for me which is another rare occurance but I just happened to catch it on camera. and the last one is her with the easter bunny! I worked there for a couple of weeks and just decided that it had to be done its expensive but I wanted just one for good memories of her first year on the earth! :D

Well now that I think I covered Phoebe, Ryan and I are doing pretty well ourselves lately. Ryan finally got an awesome job!!!!!! He is selling cars for Larry H Miller Subaru and has sold Four cars in one week! Total he has sold five cars because he sold one only after being on the job for a couple days! I am so proud of him, he has been having a blast. His boss and fellow employee's have said that they have never seen a new person work nearly as hard as he does! I am so lucky to have him in my life!

I finally reached my goal of starting my own marykay business! (so if you need any make-up give me a call or email me and I can help you out!) I managed to earn all my money for my starter kit and do a class only after having it for a few days. I managed to sell almost 800 dollars in product and got about three or four bookings out of it! I felt very accomplished and I can't thank the hoggards enough for doing it and helping me out! they are a blessing in my life as are all my friends!

Smiles on the first try!

Phoebe will be 3 months exactly on Saturday! I'm so glad she has been so healthy so far!(with the minor cold here and there) But she is getting so big and is such a happy girl! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful little girl. I took her to get some pictures done finally last night and I thought I would show the family them since I know people actually keep up on this :D. Plus it will be nice to show everyone who doesn't get to see her on a regular basis what she looks like now! :D

Our Little Night Time Godsend... :)

So Phoebe is only two months old and has started sucking her thumb! It is the cutest thing to watch her do. But at the same time it has been a little miracle worker for us. She usually only does it when she's super tired but it has helped a lot when its been late at night and there is nothing more we can do. She just wiggles it right on in there and is happy as can be! I finally caught a candid little shot of it so I thought I would share with everyone! :D

Crazy Hollidays!

Well Phoebe is now 2 months old and Ryan finally got a new job! This is the exciting news that is going on right now. Christmas was crazy, we had a part every night of the week. Sunday we went up to Kim's grave and decorated a little tree with an ornament of each of the grand kids and lots of bells and candy canes.

That night we went to Shaun and Jess's to have dinner and presents with the kids! Monday night we went to dinner with Ryan's dad, Michelle and everyone in that group. Tuesday Ryan stayed home from work and we got some stuff done around the house which was nice. Wednesday(Christmas eve) we went around delivering Christmas cards (because I didn't get them mailed out...) and ended up going over to visit Slade's mom(Ry's Bestfriend, Who's on a mission right now) to show her the baby and just say hi. Christmas Day we woke up and opened presents with my family.
Then we head over to my Grandma Davis's to open presents over there. Where Ryan and I got an awesome cook book from my uncle we're so excited to use it! After that we went over to my Aunt's house for Christmas dinner. Friday we were invited to go up to Ryan's Aunt Wendy's for the extended Greene family Christmas party. It was a good time we played wii and catch phrase and had fun with all the kids there! Christmas was a very busy time for us it was fun but I'm glad its overwith til next year!

New years was a blast we got to see lots of friends and have some fun family time as well. First we went to the zoo and saw all the fun lights there! After that we went over to my friend cayla's and hung out there for a bit then headed over to ryan's friend Chris's place and had some fun there watched a couple movies and such! :D

Phoebe is 2 months old already as I informed you above. She had her Dr. check up yesterday and she weighed 12 lbs and 7 oz and was 23 1/4 inches long! She's so big already and getting so alert! She smiles back at you when you smile at her and she is laughing too! The cutest thing she has done lately is figure out how to suck her thumb! its so fun to wake up in the morning and see her laying there with her thumb in her mouth. :D We are learning so much from her already.

Ryan has finally found a job that will move his carrer forward! He is the head body tech at 808 body in Murray. He starts his new job on monday and thanks to family and friends he has mostly all the tools and supplies he needs to be successful at it! He's nervous to start because this is something very new to him but I have faith that he will succeed very well!

I'm just hanging out at home with phoebe right now. I really would like to find a job for just a few days a week but we'll see what happens there. The economy is so yucky lately idk if I'll ever find something. I have been coming up with some way fun ideas for things to make though, I really want to give it a go and see where it takes me!

PHOEBE IS ONE MONTH OLD!!!!

Wow time has just flown by these last four weeks! She will be exactly one month old on December 14. We are having so much fun with her she has got to go so many places and meet so many different people! For example of one place she went, on Thanksgiving we went to Jessica's(Ryan's Sister-in-law) Mom's house and ended up meeting the entire Fullmer family. It was so fun, Plus I got to see a friend from high school who happens to be Jess's cousin. All in all this last month has been challenging but great! Ryan's job is going ok it could be better.... But it is a job and it gets us that much closer to being on our own again. I'm hoping to get a job as soon as possible but we'll see how things go with the baby and the economy lol... Phoebe is doing really good she's extremely healthy and just growing faster then I can keep up with her! She's having some issues sleeping at the right times at night but we're working through it and getting closer and closer each day! Our family is doing great Christmas is just around the corner and I'm so excited for her to be a bit more responsive to us it will be so fun!

Just Over A Week!

Well it was a week ago Friday that our little blessing was born. She is already doing so many things, she will smile and giggle in her sleep. She can roll onto her side by her self! She is breast feeding like a champ. She has been an awesome sleeper through the night! There has been so much that she has already done in these last ten days. She got to meet so many people this week and do so many fun things already! She came home from the hospital on Saturday night. Sunday we went to the store and then to Thanksgiving dinner at Ryan's Dad's and she got to meet all her cousins. So far she's the youngest we'll see what the next year brings us! she went to the Mall for the first time on Thursday we met some friends there and walked around the stores. She went to an appointment on the exact week mark from when she was born and they said she had grown an inch and a half and that she was 8 lbs 10 oz. She goes to her pediatrician on weds we'll see how much more she is then! :D She LOVES her stroller we took her for a walk with the dogs on Saturday and she was so happy and calm just being pushed in the stroller. I'm so excited to see how she is going to grow into her body! We love her so much already she's teaching us a lot of patience and gratitude!

Phoebe Leane Greene

Phoebe is the greatest blessing to us this year! I have never seen Ryan happier and I have never felt better in my life! She makes us smile by just opening her eyes or grunting in her sleep. I am so grateful that she is so healthy and strong. She is going to be the light at the end of our tunnel for the year! If I could have one thing for Christmas this year it would be to just have Ryan and Phoebe curled up with me by a fire listening to Christmas music knowing that they are never going to leave me!

Baby News

Well we have finally got a date of when this little munchkin is coming. After all our waiting and hoping I go into labor its been decided that I will be induced. My last pre-natal Dr.'s visit was today and she gave the ok for me to be induced. I will be induced on Thursday November 13. We are not sure what time yet but I just call the hospital and they will tell me when to come in. I will post pictures of our little princess as soon as I can! We'll call everyone and let them know when she is finally here!

Just Starting Out

I thought it was about time to get a blog spot since everyone in Ryan's family has one and our beautiful little girl will be here any second now. Ryan and I have known each other for over a year now and are so excited to be parents. We both grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and for the most part love it here. I think we would like to move out of state for a while but not anytime soon. Ryan has finished most of his schooling already. He attended Wyoming Technical Institute where he received certification in auto body paint and repair. He was working for a shop in West Jordan but was let go in August due to personal issues with the owner. He has just started a new job working for a friend's dad wiring buildings with telecommunications products (its complicated and i don't really know how else to explain it).
I have not really been working since i got pregnant but hope to get a job as soon as i can after my little princess is here. I have mostly been organizing the baby stuff and just doing what i can to keep busy until the big day. I have enjoyed meeting Ryan's family these last few months they have all been so nice to me and am so excited to be a part of it! We plan on getting married hopefully sometime around next summer but we'll see how that goes. I think that this year has gone a lot better for me then the last couple years and hopefully it will continue to be as good as it is. I could not have found a more perfect guy to spend the rest of my life with he has taken such good care of me and I know there is only more of that greatness to come.
We sort of have a couple sweet little kids already they are furry and have four legs but we love them both so much! Ryan came with panda and she is such a sweet cat. She makes us laugh when she has her little moments of chasing ghosts or playing with my parents cat(stinky). We got Aly a few months ago from a friend of mine who had to get rid of her. She has been such a sweet dog and I can't wait to see her with our little girl. She can be a bit special at times but we both still love her! She is great at snuggling and oh man her tongue watch out for it.
Well I guess that is where our family is at right now. I will definitely be back on here with an update of the baby and such as soon as she gets her little butt here.
